How did evangelical preacher Sister Cindy become a hit with Gen Z?

Love her or hate her, there’s no denying that evangelical street preacher @sister_cindy has become a TikTok star and a hit among Gen Z.

Cindy Smock, better known as "Sister Cindy," rose to fame on TikTok and is popular among Gen Z users on the app. She’s traveling to different colleges as part of her "Ho No Mo revolution" to spread her message about God and denounce sex before marriage.

Smock's visits have not been welcomed by everyone on the campuses she has visited, with many criticizing her conservative views on sex. She has also been accused of being homophobic and racist.

Smock said she doesn't mind the criticism and that she loves everybody, whether they like her or not. She says she does what she does to help students "repent their sins and follow the Lord Jesus."
