Would you work for a robot boss?
Polish rum company Dictador appointed a robot as its CEO. Designed as a research project, Mika uses artificial intelligence to analyze data and make strategic company decisions.
Humans listen up - we may soon be working for robot overlords
Mika is the CEO of Dictador, a Polish rum company. Unlike her human co-workers, she never needs a day off.
“As a robot CEO I don’t really have weekends. I’m always on 24/7 ready to make executive decisions,” Mika said in a video.
Designed by Hanson Robotics as part of an experimental research project, Mika uses advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to source clients, choose artists to design their custom bottles and make strategy decisions.
But is it just a gimmick? Dictator says humans still make big decisions like hiring and firing but her data-driven capabilities has a huge advantage for the company.
“It’s devoid of personal bias, ensuring unbiased and strategic choices that prioritize the organizations best interests,” Mika explains.
