Goes Gen Z choose health over beauty?
A new survey shows that nearly half of Gen Z thinks financial compatibility is more important than other factors like physical attraction.
What’s more important in a relationship, Looks or Wealth? When it comes to what Gen Z is looking for, the answer may surprise you.
A study from Northwestern Mutual surveyed more than twenty seven hundred adults. Among all ages, more than a third think financial compatibility is more important than physical compatibility. But when it comes to Gen Z, a staggering 49% prioritize finances over looks.
Why is this? Gen Z couples struggle more than older couples with seeing eye-to-eye on finances, and that can cause a significant strain in their relationships.
But the good thing is, financial challenges seem to be less of an issue the older you get. The majority of millennial couples say they’ve become more financially compatible over time, and boomers face way less financial challenges in relationships than younger generations.
If there’s one thing that all ages agree on, it’s that honest conversations about money should happen before marriage or moving in together.
